SHADOW
This is my first submission for Illustration Friday. The word this week is "shadow." I was at a lost when I first read it. I thought of Peter Pan's shadow or a detective shadowing a fugitive. Then I looked out my kitchen window and saw the afternoon shadows under the tree in the back yard and made this drawing. I put it under mixed media because it is pencil, crayon and marker.

So where do you find your inspiration?
Congrats on your first illo post for IF! I like the composition & texture, still can't believe its all done in crayon.
